Sek Profile C

In Profile C, students who require additional support in the traditional subject areas of the cantonal curriculum are provided with targeted support.

Sek Profile C provides highly individualized support for students in class sizes of up to 12 students. Teachers also have additional training in special education to meet the specific needs of their learners. Particular focus is placed on addressing challenges in the cognitive area. In projects, students work on practical, hands-on tasks. This enables them to achieve the basic requirements and supports their integration into the workforce.

Placement in Profile C is determined by the primary school. If students demonstrate above-average performance, a change to Sek Profile B is possible at the middle of the school year (semester change) or at the end of the school year. The educational pathway decision made by the homeroom and subject teachers is decisive.
