Youth Project LIFT
The Youth Project LIFT is a voluntary, school-related support program that gives motivated young people with challenging starting conditions the opportunity to gain their first work experience in companies in the school’s regional area during lower secondary education.
Students work two to three hours per week during time outside regular classes (Wednesday afternoons). They carry out suitable tasks at the same company for three months, allowing them to gain insight into the world of work. Students are prepared for their work placements by specially trained teachers, visited at their weekly workplaces, and supported through weekly coaching sessions.
