Student Parliament

The Student Parliament enables students at both Sek eins Höfe schools to experience democratic processes first-hand and to play an active role in shaping everyday school life responsibly. It represents the concerns of classes, contributes to school-related topics and implements its own projects – within clearly defined areas of responsibility. In doing so, it strengthens participation, transferable skills and students’ sense of belonging to the school.

The Student Parliament consists of one elected representative from each class, who serves on an equal footing for at least one school year. It operates with the guidance and support of teachers and meets on a monthly basis or more frequently when needed. This ensures structured, continuous and democratically legitimate student participation.
