Educational Concept
«Ich bi parat!», in English «I’m ready!» The educational concept provides the framework for educational work, but also allows room for school- or grade-specific developments.
The program is based on the cantonal Curriculum 21, the cantonal lesson plan, the pedagogical principles of Sek eins Höfe, the shared vision for the elementary school of the future (AVS, PHSZ, LSZ, VSLSZ), the new assessment regulations of the Canton of Schwyz—introduced in the 2024–25 school year—and the recommendations of the UNESCO Science Council.
Goals
Students are supported in their personal development, can acquire additional cross-curricular and subject-specific competencies, and are further motivated in their learning through a variety of programs. Young people with strong (partial) talents are provided with special learning opportunities to support their future academic and professional paths.
Four Dimensions of Personal Development
«Ich bi parat!» This motto expresses the inner, mental, and physical readiness to embrace something new, take on a challenge, or tackle a task with confidence. The use of the slogan in dialect emphasizes immediacy and emotionality in various areas of life. The four dimensions encompass a wide range of competencies and behaviors that guide pedagogical practice:

Four Core Elements
Each of the three grade-level teams kicks off the new school year with its orientation week. Learning workshops encourage students to work independently. Talent development modules enable interest-driven learning. During the intensive weeks, topics related to ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) from Curriculum 21 are covered.
